Into The Outside - Indie Game Prototype (WIP)

What would you do if 2D characters started falling into our world? In Into The Outside you play as someone who has been thrown into our world as you try to regain your memory and find your way back home. Into The Outside is a single-player adventure with turn-based combat and a compelling story about friendship.

The game centers around a 2D character that has been thrown into the real world and has lost his memory. He meets a Seagull called Chip and Chip gives the hero the name of Fish. Together you are Fish and Chip… fitting for a game set in Cornwall.

Controls:

WASD to Move.

SPACE to Jump

ESC to Pause

Left Click to select Attack

Known Bugs:

• Escape only works in the intro beach area and the quit button resets the game to the start so you can only escape in that area.
• Walking into a wall generates upward force. The character controller itself is a little buggy.
• Pause Menu doesn’t have full functionality yet.
